Gel Ink Rollerball Trio, 0.5 mm β Ink Black, Slate Blue, Clay Grey
Three colours, one very smooth line.
A three-pen set for people who colour-code. Same body, same 0.5 mm needle-point, same quick-drying pigment gel β in ink black for the main text, slate blue for edits and clay grey for the notes in the margin.
Why it earns a place on your desk
- 0.5 mm needle-point tip for a fine, precise line that does not snag on paper
- Quick-drying pigment gel ink β waterproof once dry, no smearing under a highlighter
- Three coordinated colours: ink black, slate blue, clay grey
- Translucent frosted barrel with a colour-matched ink window so you always know what is left
- Rubberised grip zone and a sprung metal clip; refillable with standard gel refills
The details
The tip defines the pen. A 0.5 mm needle-point gives a line fine enough for a 5 mm dot grid, for annotating a printed page, for small handwriting in a pocket notebook β without the scratchy feel that cheap fine tips have. The point is supported in a metal collar so it stays true instead of splaying after a week in a pocket.
Ink that behaves. This is a pigment gel, not a dye gel. It goes down wet and dark, dries in a couple of seconds, and then stays put: it will not smear under a highlighter, it will not run if you get caught in the rain, and it does not feather on ordinary copy paper. That combination is what makes it usable for everything from a shopping list to a signed document.
Three colours that actually coordinate. Rather than the usual red-blue-black, this set is built around a quieter palette: ink black for the main body of text, slate blue for markup and second passes, clay grey for margin notes and anything you want to feel secondary. Used together they read as a system rather than a traffic light.
You can see the ink. The barrel is translucent frosted plastic with a subtle frosted finish that takes fingerprints far better than gloss, and a clear window shows the remaining ink in its own colour. A rubberised zone at the grip keeps things comfortable, and the sprung metal clip holds securely to a notebook without leaving a mark.
Not disposable. Each pen takes a standard gel refill, so when one runs dry you replace the ink, not the pen. Three pens, three colours, one habit that does not generate plastic waste every month.

Whatβs in the box

Care
- Cap the pen when not in use; pigment gel dries in the tip if left uncapped.

Good to know
Every kexvynβ’ piece is designed in-house and made in small runs, so materials vary slightly from batch to batch β grain in the oak, tone in the leather, patina on the brass. Those are the marks of real materials rather than defects, and they are why no two are identical.
